I'm planning on buying a 55" sony XE90. I was originally planning on buying the sonos playbar and sub to go with it however looking at this post UHD vs FHD
Price wise I'm not looking to spend more than £900.
I was also going to get the play 3 and a play 1 for the other rooms (mainly for connectivity and ease) but something like yamaha multicast would also do the job by the looks of it.
If you have a separate audio solution such as a sound bar or receiver chances are it won't work with UHD or HDR. It will need to be HDMI 2.0 to pass UHD resolutions up to 60hz and HDMI 2.0a to pass HDR.
and the sonos soundbar doesn't have a HDMI 2.0 connector. Which soundbar + sub would you guys recommend? It'll be going into a flat so don't need it to be super loud just enough to get a decent experience w/o annoying the neighbours. The TV and soundbar will be in the corner of the room so I can't really go for one that relies on bouncing the sound off the walls.
