I am looking to get a Sound Level Meter to allow me to setup/tinker with my settings. However, I am not sure which one to get so thought I would ask what people were using on here and how good they find them. So far I have found:

Mini Digital Sound Level Noise Decibel Monitor Meter DB on eBay, also Other Test Equipment, Test Measurement Equipment, Electrical Test Equipment, Business, Office Industrial (end time 15-Jun-09 18:32:15 BST)

RadioShack Sound Level Meter - Analogue - 33-4050 NEW on eBay, also, Audio Test Equipment, Professional Studio, Consumer Electronics (end time 15-Jun-09 08:19:24 BST)

Analog Display Sound Level Noise Decibel Meter DB NEW on eBay, also Other Test Equipment, Test Measurement Equipment, Electrical Test Equipment, Business, Office Industrial (end time 12-Jun-09 06:59:34 BST)
-This on says it has a line out. Does that mean it can be used with a laptop and the right software to carry out room calibrations?

Digital Sound Level Meter > Maplin

Has anyone used any of these or have any other recommendations. I do not want to spend a fortune on it but would pay a little extra if it means getting something significantly better. Ideally I am looking at the £15 to £30 price range.
    Cheers

    Hi,
    Just so you know,
The third one 'Analog Display Sound Level Noise Decibel Meter' is simlpy a rebadged version of the original Radoshack unit (as used in DVE),
So just as good as the one with Radioshack written on it.;)

    Paul.
