    i'm looking to by a small digital camera around the 4mp mark.
    it will be used for general purpose pics.eg to use for emailing etc
    i'm looking at the canon ixus 400.
    i,m looking to buy a good quality s/h unit if possible.
    or is there a better camera to be had for the money.any info would be gratefully recieved :confused:

    I owned the 400. It's a very capable little camera, it takes great pictures and it's very well built/designed.

    I hope it gives better results than the older canon ixus 35mm i had obout 6-7 years ago.I found that this camera gave very grainy prints,a cheap disposable gave better results,I sold that and got an olympus mju-II zoom 80,and i'm very happy with that, still got it infact, not worth selling for what i'd get for it.
    i have always liked the shape and size of the ixus.i'm looking at a few on ebay to see what a good s/h one sells for

    those shots look good to me for what i want in this camera.
    two i have been tracking on ebay sold for £122 & £124 both factory refurbs with 6 months warranty. a good price i think, unless anybody knows better
