Time has come to get a new rig. Currently have a Dell Inspiron laptop thats served me well as my main desktop rig for sometime now but the pace of the 1.73 GHz Dothan is showing!

I was going to get a new laptop but Ive come to the conclusion of getting a SFF, keep my Dell laptop for travel etc. Looking at Shuttle's. I loved the A64 version I had back in the day. With the 6800 256MB NU flashed to an Ultra, it was a superb combo :p

After a brief look around there are main Intel C2D flavours to choose from.

Would want something that is compatible with a C2D Yorkfield if possible, HDMI output, 2 Optical drives, quiet as possible and black in colour.

No need for onboard graphics as I will be getting a GPU along with the other bits including HD's, Optical drives, Sound Card etc.

    Thanks :)

You may be hard pushed finding one with bays for two optical drives, unless you want to spend £900 on an Ultimo Nano.
