I've just received my first home cinema system (Sony HT-DDW760) and I'm trying to work out which is the best way to connect my DVD player (Sony DVP-S735D). I can either use Audio and Digital Output connections or the 5.1 Multi Channel Output connections. Which would be more suitable and give me the better sound?

    Thanks

Either the optical or digital coaxial connector will give you the best quality sound but you need to make sure that both the dvd player and the amp has provision for the same type of connection.

I wouldn't bother with the multi channel output connectors
