    Hi Guys,
I'm looking to upgrade my pioneer mini system to some separates, looking at a Tuner and CD Player both in black if possible.

I would like to integrate the separates with my yammy 763 and Canton CD102, I will be upgrading the two fronts to floor standers in the future. So for now i wont need a power amp i think.

The budget is around £300.00 not a lot i know but thats it.

Advise on connecting them up to my yammy would help also.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

    Cheers, Daz.

    Hi,

I would suggest the NAD [email protected]£156.55) and then either the Arcam DiVA T61 @ £127.19 or to stretch you budget slightly the NAD C425 @ £176.12

All of the above are at superfi..

    hope this helps.

Dab tuners are quite pricey so you might wish to look second hand if thats your preferential route.

Your could always consider using your DVD to play music and using a seperate DAC (digital to analogue convertor). If you do a search on here for "beresford" you will find some useful info on that DAC which by all accounts is pretty good.

Basically using the external DAc should provide better sound quality than most budget Cd / DVd players. You would in effect only be using the DVD as a transport and the DAC to process the sound. You will need to check you have suitable optical connections on your DVD for it to work!

    Just a suggestions:smashin:

what do you guys think about maybe going down the mini system route again maybe something like:-

    TEAC DR-H300DAB-BLACK

    Or

    DENON DM37DAB-BLACK

    Or

With a compromise with the colour the DENON DF102DAB CD/RECEIVER MINI SEPARATES SYSTEM

This may be the only way to stay on budget, No to sure how to wire one up to my Yamaha DSP-763 so i can use the Canton 5.1 system.
