Which Scart RGB To VGA adapter for Sky+

    Have decided to buy a Scart RGB to VGA adapter to improve picture from Sky+ box to a Panny PW6.

    Have heard Dr John's recommended ...

    ... but have also seen significantly cheaper one at Lektropacks ...

    Anyone using either of these and suggest what would be best VFM. Or any other alternatives ? Don't want to compromise on quality for sake of a few quid.

    Also any guidelines on getting a quality-enough VGA lead ?

    Although I'm unable to provide a direct comparison between the two products mentioned in your post I would encourage you to take the JS Technogy converter route. :smashin: You will not find a bad word spoken about them on this forum as the build quality and performance of these products is excellent. I am sure you will get a number of forum members echoing these thoughts.

    Yup, I agree. I use the JS RGB2VGA and it gives a rock solid picture. I'm surprised just how good some channels on sky look!

    Also John sells a good quality VGA cable on his site as well, I got the 3m one for £40. Picture quality is superb on $ky :)
