Have decided to buy a Scart RGB to VGA adapter to improve picture from Sky+ box to a Panny PW6.

Have heard Dr John's recommended ...
    http://www.js-technology.com/rgb-vga/index.htm

... but have also seen significantly cheaper one at Lektropacks ...
    http://www.lektropacks.co.uk/product/technical.asp?dept_id=67&sku=592

Anyone using either of these and suggest what would be best VFM. Or any other alternatives ? Don't want to compromise on quality for sake of a few quid.

Also any guidelines on getting a quality-enough VGA lead ?

    Thanks, The Baldster.

Although I'm unable to provide a direct comparison between the two products mentioned in your post I would encourage you to take the JS Technogy converter route. :smashin: You will not find a bad word spoken about them on this forum as the build quality and performance of these products is excellent. I am sure you will get a number of forum members echoing these thoughts.

    Regards

Yup, I agree. I use the JS RGB2VGA and it gives a rock solid picture. I'm surprised just how good some channels on sky look!

Also John sells a good quality VGA cable on his site as well, I got the 3m one for £40. Picture quality is superb on $ky :)
