Which scart lead

    What is the quality of the scart cables supplied with Tivo and sky digital like?are they oxygen free,would i notice any difference if i upgraded? Cheers Steve

    I don't know the spec of the supplied leads but, IMO, oxygen free isn't important. What does matter is having individual screened signal leads to cut down on interference/crosstalk.
    Undo the casing on the leads & carefully prise the connector apart to check this. Cheaper crosstalk-prone leads have only as screen around the whole outside of the bundle of cables (or harness).

    Either braided steel round the outside (but underneath the main PVC insulation round the whole cable), or very thin "tin foil" wrapped round the outside. If each strand of the cable is screened, then it is more likely that it will be the latter.
