Hi, could someone please advise me on which scart lead to use to connect my samsung dvd m105 to my new sony 32ls60 tv. The tv is excellent and is all i hoped it would be. The dvd is also V-good, but I want to get the best possible picture transfer possible to take full advantage of the tv's glorious picture. Is the scart lead on offer at Comet for £45.00 the one i should be going for or is there better out there.

Many thanks for the advice in advance.

    :)

I use Ixos 126AV scart-to-scart cables on my KV28LS60. Bought them from www.hifibitz.co.uk - but there are other places you can buy from too. It's a great cable. :)

We can't advise you on the Comet scart cable unless you post the brand and model number ;)

Yeah, I just saw that on the DVD Players section of the forum. Bit of a coincidence eh? :D

Tim - It's against forum rules to double post mate. You'll have a moderator on your back doing that ;)

Hi, I've just been into Comet and they do a Monster scart to scart which is 24k gold plated 75ohm for £30, they also had a Pro con scart to scart which states is gold plated and individually screened for £20 and that's all it said on tha packaging, what's the difference if any, and should I just go for the Ixos 126AV for £31 to connect my Sony DVD to my LS60??

    Cheers

I've gone for a Ixos 138AV from Empire Direct for £32.

They do the 126AV for £27 though.

OK silly question time again, what's the difference between the 138AV and the 126AV? If it's better then I'll get that one from empiredirect.

Not to worry, I've just checked out the Ixos website and it is a better connector, well from what I understand anyway. Thanks lentini for pointing that out on empire, I would have ended up buying the 126AV for a quid cheaper!! :D

I was surprised when I saw the price. The dearest I saw it was £70, and that was for the 1.5 metre version!
