I've more or less decided, after much demoing to purchase the Rotel 1066 processor. I tried it with a 1075 channel amp and felt it was excellent musically. Not far off the AV8/ Tags I had been demoing and much cheaper. So, which power amp do I get? I have 5.1 speakes (Ruarks) and am torn between the 1075 at £845 (cheaper anywhere?) or going for the 6x60w 1066 and bi-amping the front 3 with a seconhand stereo power amp at the back (lots of two channel rotels about). The money will probably come in about the same but will I get more benfit from bi-amping the fronts or will the 1075 give me a more balanced experience? I'm assuming the 1066 is up to the 1075 in the sound quality stakes having not heard it. One advantage it has is size as the 1075 is a big beast. Comments please. Also, anyone who has a 1066 pro, how many 12v triggers does it have?
