which remote ?

I bought a cambridge m1 enhanced remote from richer sounds a few years ago, i took out an extended waranty with a buy back option, the value of that is £40, which is only £9 less than a new one.

So im thinking of getting a new remote, any suggestions ?

Prontos are starting to come up secondhand for well under £100.

The original version (and the Marantz equivalent RC5000) have 1 Meg of memory which is enough to run just about every IR device in the average HC household unless your name happens to be Bill Gates.

Programming is a bit of a learning curve, but you do have the advantage of PC software and access to thousands of other peoples set-ups for inspiration or just plain piracy
