I have a recently acquired Arcam DV89 and an Infocus 4805 projector. Should I set the Arcam to output and interlaced signal and let the Infocus' onboard faroudja chip undertake the conversion to progressive, or should I set the DV89 to progressive?

Common sense says to me to me 'do the conversion as early as possible', but the faroudja chip in the 4805 is very highly thought of.

Of course, I will try both, but was wondering what the consensus of opinion thinks should be better.

    Thanks
