Which receiver is the best for CD playback?

I am interested for the model in the price class of Onkyo TX-SR505 or TX-SR605. On the first place I like it to be good for CD playback, as reviews say that most of recivers in midrange do not perform CDs good. Movies performance, multichannel and other electronic features are of minor importance. I prefere something with powerful dynamic sound, good depth, strong bass, warm and spatious sound, certainly not flat or cold sound. The good and clear vocal are preffered.
