I've just ordered a Toshiba 32ZP38 and will be looking to buy a progressive scan DVD player in the next few months. I understand the PAL types are fairly new to the market and some may be quite expensive. So my problem....I need to find a wife friendly price DVD player. I like the idea of the KISS dp-500 with the ethernet connectivity but it only supports PS via its scart (no component phonos) and I've read a couple of mixed reviews.

My current player is a Samsung 709 which I was going to use with a scart to component lead for the time being if that's possible.
