I get lost in the sea of projectors. Can anyone help me decide?

I'm hoping to get brighter than 1200 lumens.

Better than 450:1 contrast (what does this mean anyway?)

I want long lamp hours 2000 or more.

I would like to stay under $1000

I will only be feeding it S-Video.

I would like to not have to take out a 2nd mortgage to replace the lamp (maybe there is no way of getting around this, why can't they make them with several halogen bulbs a person can buy from menards?)...

Any and all thoughts appreciated. Thanks in advance everyone!

    Maybe a
    NEC VT470 2000 Lumen SVGA 800 x 600 Video Projector 3000 hours
    or a
Optoma EzPro745 2300 Lumen XGA 1024x768 DLP Video Projector DVI Connection 5000 hours (too good to be true?)
