A friend of mine is looking to buy a Plasma screen and has around 5 grand to spend. Does anyone have any recommendations? Do they all support PCs and if so what resolutions do they go up to? What else should I be looking out for?

Any help would be appreciated, thanks

The best PDP that I have seen for £5k is the NEC MP3 42" 16:9.

It will support most video/PC inputs bar SDI (which you will probably never use anyway).

    Resolution is 848x480 pixels.

If you are looking for a PDP with TV tuner as standard then look for the Pioneer 433HDE 42" 16:9 with TV tuner box, resolution is 1024x1024 pixels and price is £6.5k.

I think you'll find that the Pioneer 433 resolution is 1024x768

As far as I know, only the Fujitsu sourced ALiS panels are 1024x1024

    I think the Fujitsu is only 1024*1024 interlaced.In progressive it's 1024*512.
