    I hope you guys can help i really can`t make my mind which system to go for should i go with the choice 1 or choice 2 or with choice 3 or is there something better you guys can suggest always willing to listen, many thanks for any replys

    Hmm all decent systems, but i think better can had for same money by not going for a boxed system, need some more info of what you have, what you want, what you are prepared to spend and any special requirements.

    Hi, well what i have at the min is a humax freeview box my current home cinema setup is a philips lx8000sa which is what i`m wanting to replace, i`ll be getting a plasma screen in a short while aswell so i`ve got to get the system for about 800/900£

    OK so think ahead to Plasma Purchase you are going to want a DVD with component, Amp with component video switching if possible, also one with delay, Youre not going to get all this for £8-900, I would say get a demo of as many as you can

    ok thanks, so how much would/should i be thinking of and what would that get in terms of item makes and models

    erm difficult one mate suggest you go to a dealer and demo some systems, demo a couple on your current list, and then the next step up and so on look for an amp that does video conversion like denon 3803/3805, Yamaha RXV2400 etc also take a look at www.creative-audio.co.uk

    Thanks m8, i know it can`t be easy recommending hardware i only ask because i`m out of my league with this stuff and don`t want to buy the next betamax video recorder lol

    Would any of those i listed above give me any better picture quality and sound quality then my current philips lx8000sa ?
