Hi all
I had a US GC, so I missed out on a lot of 3rd party titles and the ability to rent (I suppose I could have got Freeloader, but hey!)
Someone mentioned Beyond Good and Evil to me the other day.
What other second hand games are there that I might not have played.

(I've pretty much got all the 1st party titles)

Thanks
tt

I still have the following...

Resident Evil Zero
Resident Evil Remake
Resident Evil 2
Resident Evil 3
Resident Evil: Code Veronica X
Resident Evil 4
Super Mario Sunshine
Mario Kart Double Dash
Star Wars Rogue Squadron
Star Wars Rogue Leader
Zelda Classic Collection

and they are all great games.

I actually just got rid of most of my GC Games over the years

However, I also bought a few in last 6 months based on trawling various forums for games that constantly were raved about in preparation for the Wii.

What I came out with for myself was this

Resident Evil 4
Super Mario Sunshine
Mario Kart Double Dash
Zelda : Windwalker
Metroid Prime
Metroid Prime 2
Pikmin

I would also rate these games that I used to have but sold over the years

Star Wars Rogue Leader
Super Monkey Ball 2
Super Smash Brothers : Melee
Resident Evil Remake
Eternal Darkness

The following two are games I just kept for various reasons
Sonic Mega Collection
Mario Party 4

Fire Emblem - awesome strategy game.

Resident Evil 4 - best action game ever and the inspiration of Gears of War.

Don't forget F-Zero DX :lesson:

I've either had or got all of those so far. (except Fire Emblem - not really my thing and a couple of the Res Evil games)

I guess I'm looking for fun quick games rather than huge adventures.

Before my Wii arrived I was playing we love katamari on the PS2 and loving it.

Ikaruga
Pikmin 2
Animal Crossing
Super Monkey Ball
Mario Golf
Zelda : Four Swords (not sure if this would work with the GBA connector?)

Ikaruga - cool - thanks I'd forgotten about that.
Four Swords - I really want to play this 2 player. What do I need to do it?

Another vote for Ikaruga - fantastic!

You could also pick up Sonic Gems cheap, it's better then the mega collection as it's got Sonic CD on it.

Metal Gear Solid: The Twin Snakes:lesson:

My choice would be:

Burnout 2
Legend of Zelda Windwaker
Pikmin (either)
Metroid Prime (either)
Mario Kart, for a group of you

Enjoy!

I agree with

Resident Evil 4
Super Mario Sunshine
Mario Kart Double Dash
Zelda : Windwalker
Metroid Prime
Metroid Prime 2
Pikmin

But I add Eternal Darkness - brill game - I have just been out and bought all of these again as I got a wii and I am looooooooviiiiiin my wii soooo much for being able to play em again - my cube broke ages ago and knew this was coming out so waited to play them all again - woo hooooo !

definately f-zero gx - best and most challenging racing game out there, really hope they make a new wii version

Fire Emblem - awesome strategy game.

Resident Evil 4 - best action game ever and the inspiration of Gears of War.

Yes i agree. Resident evil 4 is still the best game i have played in the past 5 years!

Right then, never had a GC but now I've got my Wii I think I'll be getting a few classic games. Where should I be looking?

I loved Rogue Squadron on PC so def want that one. Also the Res Evil game that everyone is drooling about. Anywhere i can get these cheap?

Independent game shops is the best place.
Look out for really cheap ones new on places like Gameplay and Play.com too.
Some of these are hard to find though, so you may need to trawl.
