Let's face it, our current politicians aren't much cop...

So, which current non-politicians who would you rather took their place?
Who would do a better job?

Jeremy Clarkson?
Richard Branson?
Alan Sugar?
George Michael?
Julian Clarey?
Jonathan Ross?
Jade Goody?
Bernie Ecclestone?

Perhaps not.
But who?

Me, or Charles Kennedy!

Heck, he may have had a drinking problem (a relatively minor problem compared to some of the stuff that other politicians have done and got away with), but he was a bloody good politician!

But of course his weakness would prevent him from ever serving effectively in public life. And I doubt it can ever be cured.

I mean being a liberal, not the drinking
