I want to buy a mini system with DAB radio and a cd player (mp3 good but not essential), and a few inputs/outputs to put in minidiscs, mp3 players etc. etc.

I've found these at these prices

Yamaha CRXM170 £170 (tho not available yet)
    Teac 250 DAB II £190
    Onkyo CR505 DAB £220
    Denon DM35DAB £240

Can anyone offer me any advice on which to go for?

    Cheers

    G

hmm...I'd probably go for Denon - but try to buy it without the speakers and buy them elsewhere...maybe some small missions or something?

I have the TEAC and it fits my requirements. It sounds good from any source and picks up FM and DAB signals extremely well. You can also add a sub woofer to it if required. If you have a John Lewis near by they sell the Onkyo, Denon and TEAC so you can test with a favourite CD.
