    Hi guys
Bit new to this, but I am looking now at streaming Video instead of my DVD Jukeboxes.

I have my NAT drives in place and have started loading up videos.

These work of course on any PC in the house.

So I am now looking at a media Client for the Plasma screen.
The question is, which one is best and most important wife proof.

The ones I am considering are

    WD TV
    TViX 7000
    Popcorn

Dont mind paying extra as there is quite a price range on these, as long as I am getting the best and most versatile and dare I say it agian (wife Proof)

    Thanks Guys
    Mark

First thing is WDTV has no network port. So if you are thinking of networking then rule out the WDTV early on.

TVIX 7000 is good, but probably only as good as the PCH, and the price difference is considerable.

I would add the EVA 9150 to your list (pending reviews).

Personally love my PCH but there is a bit of work involved to increase the WAF.

    Hi Guys

Ok I have been doing a bit more reading and now its between these I think

    Popcorn
    EVA 9150
    Kaiboer

Needs to be as foolproof as possible. I will be using a Synology NAS more than an internal hardrive
I did try an eGreat EG-M31B but never got it working, so the wife would have no chance.

    Thanks
    Mark

i would go for the netgear eva9150 then.

even without any reviews on it - the eva9150 will be more user friendly than a PCH as netgear know who they are selling it to.

EVA9150 Digital Entertainer Elite - Google Search

of course no one has any in stock right now but im sure that will be resolved soon.

I certainly wouldn't, at least not until some formal and user reviews are available. These things always seem to be buggy on release, and I bet the Eva won't be any exception.

The PCH is an excellent option, but then if you don't want to - or can't afford - many hours setting it up and getting things working as you want, this might not be the right option. There again, unfortunately nothing out there is plug and play. Alot depends on what type of files you're planning to stream also?
