    Which looks better?
    The old Lotus Elise
    1.jpg
or the new 2015 Lotus Elise
    image.jpg

There is something about some objects which can be so beautiful that they are revered.
To me the most beautiful plane is the Spitfire.
The most beautiful car, the Lotus Elise.
I love the old one. I think the new one is fugly in comparison.

IMO the new Elise 2015 seems to detract from the Lotus ethos (neither of which I have driven)

Have checked and you may have been right. They look so similar that I didn't notice the difference.
I've updated the image to the one from here: 2015 Lotus Elise - Picture 387253 | car review @ Top Speed

    That looks more like it:smashin:

Close call. The new one looks nice. Reminds me a bit of the Peugeot RCZ and a tiny bit Gallardo:eek:

The older one in the top pic is very cute though.

Neither as good looking as an Exige though:D

Unless either of them are an Electric car i don't think you are allowed to start a new thread in here!

    :D

I prefer the old one, although i like the wheels of the new one.

If it's genuine it doesn't seem to be very widely reported.

I do like the design in the second picture, wheels aside, it's got a lot more personality than a lot of sportscars these days. It would fit as Renault's new alpine far better than what they're actually releasing.

Does it suit Lotus? Well it doesn't fit in with their model lineup but I'd say it's closer design-wise to the previous generation of Elan/Elite/Esprit than the current designs were.

    I like it.

New one by a country mile, it's flipping lovely.
The fact it looks a bit like an RCZ is no bad thing, in my book.

I remember seeing some of the other lotus concepts shown at the time and not thinking much of them. I don't think I ever came across that one though, it's much better than the rest.

That 2015 Elise is a concept and won't see production anytime soon. This is the current S3 Elise..
