which laptop?

Hi, looking for a new laptop, main use being internet and email, needs to be wireless for internet.

Looked at a dell and Acer from tesco for about £350 unless anyone has any other suggestions?

Wireless is standard and even five year old computers are more than capable of handling anything the internet can throw at it so I'd recommend just wandering around the local shops that sell computers and picking one you like the look and build quality of (if you write a bit then be sure to try the keyboard as some laptops can be abysmal), as well as making sure they don't have any stupidly bright LEDs or badly placed ports, if you see any slightly above your budget that you like then you can probably find them cheaper online.

Dell have a better reputation than Acer, although as you're after a bargain price one they're probably going to be fairly similar in plastickyness.

Go on to Hotukdeals and look at the current deal on the Dell Vostro 1520 Hot price for a good specced laptop.

Went with the acer 5735z, £100 off at tesco to £379, plus my staff discount took it to about £330, pleased with it so far.
