Which ISP does credit check?

Pretty much all of them, but in some cases this is only between utility providers and not through your full credit file with Experian or Equifax.

Unless you are currently declared bankrupt or have multiple CCJs it's unlikely you would be rejected as the risk is very low, as they can terminate your contract very easily and any losses would be low should you default on payment.

The majority of terms and conditions will state "We may conduct a credit check and or share information to prevent fraud" or something similar.

What this means is that if for instance you owe money to your current provider they will share this with other utilities providers so that you can't hop from one to another running up a trail of debt.

I am not suggesting this is the case with you, it's just an example!
