Trying to decide which sub is technically the better of these two for mainly movies integrating with 5 Monitor Audio Radius 225HDs.. sort of like the idea of same brand, but I think the Richter might have more welly?

Thor IV Subwoofer - Richter Audio

    Why those two?

Thor one goes lower but the other seems to have slightly more powerful amp? Are you buying used?

I will second the Bk subs or xtz if not wanting to pay big money. Well worth the price.

Option to swap MA for Richter as i thought 12" ported sub would be louder n lower.. cabinet is more than twice the size of the MA.

'Swap' as in for free, and meaning your currently own the MA sub? If not free then it would be helpful to others if you gave an idea of your budget.

Note that the frequency range on the Richter sub is not properly defined, as in -3dB, -6dB or whatever it actually is.
