I want to get a CD that contains a collection of Henry Mancini film scores, but can't find a single definitive disk. Anyone know of one? In particular want to get the music/themes from Charade, Touch of Evil, Peter Gunn, The Pink Panther etc. but I can't find a single disk/collection that covers all of them. Any suggestions appreciated!

Looks good to me. I love Mancini music - I used to play in a Stage Band myself (lead tenor sax:cool: ), and love in particular Days of Wine and Roses and also Baby Elephant Walk. Magic stuff. Let me know how those recordings sound when you get them and I may just buy them too!

Just got this from the states last week.

Just got it for the track Stella By Starlight, and never heard track 6 before Crazy World very nice find.

The Charade one I have yet to hear on of his compilations with the original opening music.

An other they do not put on most compilations which I like of his is the theme from Arabesque.
Got a super CD of his years ago think it was only £6 and is super easy listening it was on the Diamond label and has an other of Henry's film scores Man's Favourite Sport.
Nearly as always it has How Soon on it probably my all time favourite Henry composition and touches my heart string every time, I was only playing it yesterday.
