So I'm considering buying either SAMSUNG UA-49MU6100 or LG 49UJ6320. Which is better though? Both are Asia Pacific Models. I'll only be using it for 4k gaming and movie and yes i know both are only budget TVs.

Model numbers and TVs differ between region, not to mention the panel types.

LG usually use IPS type panels whilst Samsung usually VA.

In this case though I think there is a good chance both TVs have PLS/IPS type panels so performance isn't really going to be very different between them.

Unless you need wide viewing angles TVs like the Hisense 50N6800, Panasonic 50EX700 or Samsung 50MU6100 would be better choices, although I am not sure if those are available in your country.

    Isn't 50MU6100 and 49MU6100 similar?

The 50" uses a VA panel from AUO. Not entirely sure on the panel on the 49", hopefully it is a Samsung VA one but it there is also a good chance it will be PLS which is the panel type used at that size on most of the MU6 series here in Europe.
