which home cinema??

hi i have about £300 to spend on a home cinema set up .I have been told that the lg LG HT752TB sounds fantastic,but also the PANASONIC SC-PT550EBK looks good as it has optical connections and the lg does not.Any help on the subject from anyone??

All prices from the Richersounds.co.uk web site. No sub included. They do offer another speaker package (Yamaha NSP110) for £100 inc Sub, but I'd go with the better speakers and leave the sub for a couple of months then add it when my budget allowed.

the panasonic sc-pt550ebk is a fantastic choice ive owned it for a month now and it is brilliant

oh and i dont know if you know this but the panny will upscale dvd's via hdmi

the LG model upscales to 1080i too.
