Ive purchased the Sammy 32" with the HD850 DVD Player. Im going to need a 5Meter HDMI lead, which are comming in around £15 on eBay.

What do I need, male - male or male - female.....or erm female - female?

    Why is everything SOO complicated!

Just looking for a HDMI cable myself at the moment. Found some for not much money (£15-£20) and others for stupid money (£100+)

    Is there much noticable difference?

According to a UK manufacturer of DVI and HDMI cables that was about to get a few £££ from my credit card, if you are buying a short cable (2-3m etc), you really are not going to see any difference. Just make sure your cable and the kit you are connecting to is HDMI certified as they are tested to a set standard. I was just about to buy a HDMI->DVI-D cable from them to replace the one that I bought off eBay a year back. This advice nearly saved me £££, but I spent it on upgraded analogue interconnect instead.
