I've got my Xbox all setup and running HDTV (480p/750p/1080i) through a PJ with 6ft Screen, so I was wondering which games are worth buying for there great visuals?

Maybe a top 5 of HDTV games would be worth doing???

Not sure what are the absolute best but avoid any Tiger Woods games, Enter the Matrix and Super Monkey Ball Deluxe as they won't work with the dashboard changed to NTSC.
Unless of ocurse you have an Xbox which is NTSC as standard and you're playing NTSC games in which case ignore my previous statement.

I know that Tony Hawks THUG 2 and Soul Calibur run at 720p and look particularly spiffing.

Hmm - can any of you guys currently using any of the listed XBox games in HiDef (using the softmod, preferably) confirm whether it's the normal PAL version of the game which you've got?

I've had a flick through my stack, and the only one which even makes mention of HDTV is Dancing Stage Unleashed (!), and even then that's as an option which is not checked as being available in the game.
Am I right in thinking that even though the PAL packaging doesn't mention that it can work at the HD modes, it still can with the necessary mod? Apologies if this is going over (and over, and over!) old ground - but I can't find a definitive answer anywhere...
I seem to recall reading that an NTSC XBox game will only work on an NTSC console, which makes sense due to system timings, etc. so the question is probably redundant... but I'd still like to know for sure ;)

I am using PAL Fifa 06, which is in 720p, I think most will, except enter the matrix, that won't load on my machine.
