Which has better upscaling LG B9 or Philips 755 OLED

Mostly watch 1080p streamed movies from Netflix, which does a better job converting to 4K? Only about £100 difference in price now.
 
The Philips probably has the edge. Its using their P5 processor which is comparable to the best picture processors on higher end TVs. It's not the newest revision of the P5 but it's the same processor their very best TVs were using from 2018 and should be a step up compared to the LG.
 
Ok thanks, just made my decision a little harder now. Just spent 3 days convincing the wife she doesn’t need ambilights😔
 
The LG is certainly the better overall TV, but everyones preferences are different. If you like the look of amblight and favour better picture processing and HDR support the Philips would be better.

The LG however has the upper hand when it comes to ease of use due to better smart TV. It's more future proof because of HDMI 2.1 ports and its the better gaming TV.
