Question Which freeview recorder?

Hi all,

I'm looking for a freeview recorder to replace a memory stick I've plugged into my TV to record programs to, I'm not really up to date with what modern recorders are capable of, but ideally I need it to do the following:

  • Able schedule a program to record without TV being switched on.
  • Able to interupt a program that is currently being recorded and rewind to the start whilst still recording the whole program
  • Able to record a program whilst watching another

I've had a browse and Humax and Panasonic seem to be the most popular, is there any preference between these two brands? I'd also be interested to see what other features are available

Any advice would be appreciated

Thanks!

Add Manhattan to the list. Newer Humax kit can record 3/4 streams at the same time, the others only 2. That aside, the feature set is very similar and all will do what you want.
