OOPS, accidentally hit the wrong key...

Can anyone recommend a good, cheap Firewire card, together with a supplier? I only want the card, not a software/ card bundle.

    Thanks,

    Nigel.

    www.ukdigital.co.uk
Card and cable for £30 and work fine with my Sony TRV30 and Win 2K PC.

When getting just a card, I would strongly recommend you get one with the TI chipset and NOT the Lucent or Via chipsets. TI works better with more DV Camcorders!!

www.datavision.co.uk have one with 3 external ports and 1 internal with the dual TI chipset. Best OHCI 1394 card you can buy! It's called Naked DV or look at the DV Capture with cable and basic software.

    Regards
