I'm sure this sort of enquiry is posted on here all the time and I apologise if this has been covered elsewhere.
We're looking to get a DVD / VCR combo and would be grateful for recommendations. We don't want to go to the expense of a DVD recorder but we require the VCR to replace our existing one and allow us to watch our VHS tapes. Our requirements are as follows:
The DVD needs to be multi-region / multi-region-ready.
The sound output needs to be stereo.
We would like to be able to record from DVD to VHS.
We would like to be able to watch a DVD whilst recording a TV programme.
The unit would need two SCART sockets: cable TV STB in and output to TV.
It should have AV sockets for connecting a video camera.
Any model details, prices and / or URLs would be gratefully received.
