Which DVD Recorder / HD

    I am after my first dvd / hard disk recorder :thumbsup: ....I have about 450 :smashin: to spend and have been looking but need some help..

    All the mags seem to favor the panny's...but what do you guys / gals think...

    What have people bought, why and what advice / info can you offer...

    Please don't be shy as this is the last boit of brass i have to spend for a few months/years or decades!!! :lease:

    Panasonic HDD/DVDRs are well established now and are highly recommended. The Panasonic E85 will just fit in your budget and has received good reviews - plus a few members on this board have got it.

    Toshiba also have an impressive entry with the RX32 - in many ways it is superior to the Panny but it is less user friendly. Have a look through the recent threads on the subject of the Toshiba to see if it is for you.
