Is it possible to get a dvd player that can out put prgressive scan or interlaced signal through component?
I would like it switchable so i could see if the plasma or the dvd player is better at deinterlacing the video. Not realy interested in hdmi/dvi or upconversion.
I have a budget of around £200. Obviously the lower the better :D

I would imagine most if not all prog scan players allow you to switch to interlace. Certainly the Pioneer 575 has the option to select interlace or prog scan for Component Out.

Absolutely stunning player for £99...PJ :)
