I have a Toshiba SD-510e DVD/Audio player, and want to give the DVD-Audio side a good work out. I don't have any Audio discs yet, so am looking for recommendations so I don't get too disappointed with the format! I have full 5.1 surround, so want to appreciate some music that exploits this.

I'm not into pop, but don't mind a bit of classical and rock.

Anyone have any good choices?

Jazz at the movies, The bedroom mixes.

Foreigner, 4

Corrs, In Blue.

Natalie Merchant, Tigerlilly

Paul Simon, Your the one

Dont know what your tastes are like but mine are quite broad,
I have just received these two discs an allthough the sound is superb they arn't my taste in music so they are FS: Joni Mitchell, Both Sides Now and Stone Temple Pilots, Core.
Oh and Bjork, Vespertine is FS too.

Hope that helps

Try Fleetwood Mac -Dance, brilliant in 5.1, also mike oldfield Tubular Bells 11 (live concert in at Edinburgh Castle) + on side 2 is Tubular Bells 111 (live at Horse Guards Parade London) both superb. I'm waiting for the release date of bjork, live at the royal opera house which i've seen on tv so i recorded it on sky+ but its not quite the same as having it on dvd.
