    Hi there.

I have the Panasonic NVGS11 mini-dv camcorder, which is a brilliant camcorder for the money. You can get hold of one now for about £250 and it has a superb picture and good functions. It is better than my friends camcorder and his was over £100 more expensive!
It has DV out and a USB connection, not sure about firewire?
Otherwise, search the net and see what you can find.

Try a current bargain like the Mini DV Sony TRV22 at www.discount2door.com - currently £231.99 - now a discontinued model but still good (do searches here). USB, DV In/Out, Memory Stick slot, av in/out, s-vid - 10x optical zoom. I just ordered one today so I hope it does the biz for the money.

The recently discontinued Sony camcorders seem to be better quality than those that are replaceing them. I think the TRV-22 should be very good for the money and almost certainly very difficault to beat.

The TRV14 is the one listed but when you click on the product description you actually cannot add the TRV14 to your basket - only its improved family members TRV19 & TRV22 - both for the same price - £231.99
