Havent tried the 3.1's myself but I'm using the 3.0 with no troubles, a lot of people have had problems with the 3.1 contol panel so definitly use the 3.0 for the control panel at least.

Its worth installing DX9 first if your using either of the above.

Now loaded the new drivers and all is well. Also installed RageIII Tweak which negates the use of Powerstrip.

Can run 1280x720 whish is the resolution for my Epson TW100.

All I need to do now is contine messing with RegKill and/or Genie and then take it home, install IMAN for a trial run.

Good call on avoiding Cat 3.1 I had a nightmare with both 3.1 and Control Panel 3.1 both are really poor and flakey. £.0 is far better and seems to be stable :D

I know its frustrating, especially sound issues and its some thing I haven't fully got my head around yet. The only thing I've done is familiarise myself with Norton Ghost.

Create three partions on your harddrive, load the os to C, ghost to E, as you add a driver or program, ghost another image to E so that it creates a series of images that allow a degree of rollback. Once it all works, Ghost C to D and alter the boot.ini to allow you to boot to either C or D. This gives you two working options, that way if you make a change that messes one of them up then you just boot to the other. You can always restore an image to the other partition later. Nothing worse than sitting down to watch a film and something doesn't work, at least you have an immediate get out for that instance.

Its worth the hastle in the end and besides, you wouldn't want to let it beat you would you:devil:
