OK which one do I plum for the AVC-A1SE or AVC-A10SE with the POA-T10.
I want to have 7.1 eventually and if I can afford all the speakers.
Anyone know if there are big differences betwean the two.

The AVC-A1SE supports DTS Es Discrete (true 6.1), the AVC-10SE does not.

BTW: 7.1 does not exist yet for homecinema.
As for DD Ex/DTS Es/Es Discrete the additional channel is amplified twice, ie it's mono only. The correct term for DD Ex/DTS Es (matrix encoded material) is 3/2:3.1 and 6.1 for DTS Es Discrete.

SDDS is 7.1 (optional in the DVD standard) and so is, or better, can be MPEG-MC (MPEG-MultiChannel) but both are not available anywhere as far as I know.
