I know this may have been asked a thousand times but I cant seem to find a definitive answer just lots of differing opinions. Im looking to connect my media pc up2 my pv500 im burying the wiring in the wall so I need 2 get it right. Was looking to get a vga cable at first, went into Maplins but they said id b better with dvi2dvi cable but ive now heard that you can get an ATI component dongle as i have a 9600xt card. Heads beginning 2 spin so any help would be great and thanx in advance.

That question has been asked already.
I believe the consensus was they're both very good.

I can't remember the thread, but it was in the last 2, maybe 3 weeks.

Why not bury both cables?? to be sure ???

well as the PV500 does not have DVi-I input it not gonna help alot, DVi-I is DVI-D and DVi-A in one cable

DVi-A is same as VGA and DVi-D is HDMI without sound so as PV500 has HDMI and VGA inputs bury thos and you can use a DVi-D> to HDMI adapter if you get a GFX card with DVi-D output
