I'm looking for a TV for my boys room. He's only 9 so doesn't really appreciate quality. He has a sound system so picture is more important than sound. I saw the Pacific in Asda today for about £160. I guess you can't go wrong at that price but is it worth paying £20 for the Goodmans in Comet or something.

He just wants it for PS2, DVDs & Sky.

It's actually Lidl who have the TV, can be seen at www.lidl.co.uk under current offers.

Just an aside - but why does a nine year old need a 28" widescreen TV?
