Can anyone tell me which sound cards support SPDIF passthrough?

I know a lot of cards have SPDIF but some decode the audio into stereo before passing it to the amp.

I currently have a Gigabyte AC97 mobo with SPDIF but it will only output in stereo to the amp via the SPDIF.

Can anyone help with which card to buy??

The VideoLogic SonicFury (aka TurtleBeach Santa Cruz) definitely works. I think you can still pick them up.

Mine works for Dolby Digital, not sure about DTS, but I assume that would work to.

I have used a soundblaster live (not the 5.1), soundblaster audigy and a terraTec aureon 7.1 Space. All of them has passed through DD and DTS.

If you search through this forum you will find loads of info on soundcards.
