    Use Studio DC10+.

A better solution if you have a firewire port, although more expensive, is to buy a Canopus ADVC-100 converter (or ADVC-50 for input only). The quality from this is as good as you will get from analogue, and there will be no audio sync problems.

Good decision. I have just bought one and its converts anything that appears on its analogue input terminals. Strangely, the quality, when put onto DVD, looks better than when the analogue is played directly into the TV!

Don't forget though that you need a firewire port on the PC to use it. The Firewire port though will be there if you should by a cam with DV-out in the future, a scanner, external DVD, HDD etc.

Also remember the ADC-50 is input only, ADVC-100 is input and output.

    Happy editing!
