I am a complete novice to digital photography and I am looking to buy my first camera. With finances being a bit tight at the moment I aim to buy one from my mums catalogue so I can pay her monthly. The choices I have are as follows

Kodak DX6490
Minolta Dimage Z1
Canon Digital Ixus 400
Kyocera S5R
Sony DSC-P92.

I have looked at reviews on the net and to be quite honest I can`t reach a decesion on which one to buy. Please can someone point me in the right direction as to which one I should choose.

Thanks Very much for any advice given.

Max

Hi Max
Minolta has a new >Z2< jus come out, have a look @ that..all bit quirky, long zoom, <rem that they fun to use..
Im surprised how good the Kyocera S5R is.. only short zoom tho
reviews are mostly good
Canon... umm perm 1 from bout 5 models :) A80 ?
i dont like the other 2 listed..

i went for the Pana FZ10 looong 400m zoom. 4mp, less than £300 from USA, not much support in uk as yet..
