Hi there! I want to use my P4 pc as an HTPC and need to know the best cable to use from the GeFORCE 6200 graphics card(with DVI and svideo out terminals)to connect to my Optoma DLP Projector(with VGA and Composite/Svideo and RS232 inputs)Note the cable will have to be 8 to 10 metres in length!!
    cheers Waddlejoe...

The 6200 is quite a few generations back and Im not sure of the options in the driver package for that card.

Based on its age , I would recommend a DVI to VGA adaptor and a VGA cable run to the projector.

Also , note that without hardware acceleration on the graphics card , HD material is extremely processor intensive , and your system may well struggle with 1080p material.
