My DVD player has RGB Scart and S-Video outputs. My screen has only S-Video connection available.

EWhich cable would give better quality (if any) - a Scart to S-Video or a straight S-Video to S-Video?

    Thanks

    S-video. Better than composite video

    Cheers

Its most likely that the SCART Output on your Source is switchable between RGB or Composite and NOT S-Video.

I'd stick with a decent quality S-Video to S-Video cable anyway - plus an Audio cable of course :)

    Best regards
