Which Bond Film Did You Enjoy The Most (please read the first post).

Definately The Spy Who Loved Me. Lotus are based near I went to school, and we had the actual Lotus used in the film at an open day once, and I managed to sit in it for £1. To an eight year old boy, things don't get much better than that.

There seems to be a bit of a theme here...the one you saw first is often considered the best. It also seems that members of this forum are all of a certain age? My first was The Spy Who Loved Me as an 8yo, this has to be my favourite.

My least liked is A View to a Kill.

I tried to explain in the first post the one you enjoyed most rather than the one you think the best film. I hope everyone know the difference.

Living Daylights is the best film for me but on seeing FRWL for the first time I never have watch an other Bond film and enjoyed as much.

Also strangely I enjoy watching Living Daylights more now than the first time I saw it up on the screen, also the last viewing of Licence to Kill I enjoyed it the most ever I have watched the film, and I have watched it a fair few times.

The James Bond which I always class as my favorite is For Your Eyes Only.
I loved the whole underwater 'thing' and Roger Moore had really made the part of Bond his own by then.
Goldeneye had a great affect on me, I realised they hadn't messed up with this "new" Bond. Just felt let down by the ending resolving around a pen in the bad guy's hand.

The Bond movie I enjoyed the most and seeing it for the first time has to be Live And Let Die. (Roger Moore in my view was the best Bond).

The first Bond Movie I saw at the cinema in the 80's (aka flea pit in Aldershot, RIP) was Tim Dalton's Living Daylights, and still enjoy watching it today.

Bond is in the blood, and will be till the day I die.

Damo :)

got to be "goldeneye" the 1st really good 5:1 soundtrack I ever heard.

Has to be From Russia With Love for me. Rosa Klebb - a class villain! I also enjoyed OHMSS and never really understood why it's always slated. Never thought that it was as bad as everyone made out.

Perhaps one of the mods (or someone) could add a poll to this thread!

I did one before on the title song and I had to split it in to 2 parts then took the to 5 for a final poll. May set one up tomorrow.

I really enjoyed the two Timothy Dalton movies as he took bond into a more gritty and violent edge to bring it a bit more up to date before Pierce Brosnan took over. His movies were less cheesier than the ones before (don't get me wrong I really enjoy bond movies) but these were a bit more up to date.

My favourite bond had to be Roger Moore as he was the first actor that I seen to play bond when I was growing up, my favourite Roger moore bond movie had to be the spy who loved me.

Looking forward to see "casino Royale" whenever it is released and I wonder who will be the next bond as there has been speculation in the press and on the internet wonder what the next actor will add to the bond image.

When i was 10 years old they had Bond Marathons during Summer showing all the films in succession, evrey day a different one.
Goldfinger was definitely the most enjoyable experience when i watched it back then.
Later i got the same enjoyment out of 'Goldeneye' after the 6 year hiatus, thanks to Pierce and Martin Campbell for reinvigorating the series.

On Her Majestys Secret Service

I only watched this a few years ago  when I bought the set on video.

I'd always avoided it because of how much it got slated, but now it's one of my three fave Bond films.

Although Dalton imo is the best Bond.

OK my favorite on first viewing was licence to kill, watched it alone in butlins when it was released and fell in love with carey lowell, but over the years living daylights has surpassed all of them as my favorite ever, and the best soundtrack by a long shot.John Barrys last one

Correct, the soundtrack to 'The Living Daylights' was IMO the best yet. Fantastic turned up - the theme which is played throughout was the best yet.

If you can get hold of the updated CD of the sound track. It originally had only 12 tracks (it came out on an LP so at the time it would have been cut short on the CD as well) any way the new CD ads an other 9 tracks including a 6.21 track of the music form the opening scene to the main title. :smashin:

yeah got that one now garrett, its excellent

Just like the DVD of Living Daylights is my most played DVD at present the CD is the most played in my collection.
Initially I had not realised the soundtrack was John Barry’s as most of his stuff sounds very similar, it is only on repeated listening I pick little bits of themes here and there. Spotted a bit of The Black Hole on one track.
Bit ironic it is I my opinion the best Bond soundtrack and it has to be the last he did for the Bond films.

and john barry just won the fellowship of bafta award, excellent and well deserved
