I have just purchased a new Musical Fidelity X-150 Amp,but find I cannot thread the QED Silver Anniversary Bi-wire through the holes in the Amp. speaker terminals, nor will the standard 4mm banana plugs accept the bi-wire.

Can anyone advise me if there is any plugs on the market that will accept this thickness of bi-wire. I cannot afford to discard the QED wire as I only recently spent £230 on these cables.--HELP Please

There are such plugs on the market. I just had a look on the Maplin website but could not come up with anything. I would call your local specialist dealer and I am positive that they will have some.

I have bought two different kinds.

One that accepts two seperate cables in each plug, bought from an American supplier on ebay and another batch from TVcables that you can plug one plug into another, 4 plugs - 2 sockets.

All take 4mm and thicker with ease.

Mylo you just beat me. That's the first lot I bought.
