which apm for these speaks

    Mordaunt Short:302 Satellite Speakers - Cherry £119.90
    Mordaunt Short:905 Centre Speaker - Cherry £119.90
    Mordaunt Short:907W Subwoofer - Cherry £219.90
    Mordaunt Short:912 Bookshelf Speakers - Cherry £199.90

    what amp for ~300 for these would work well with em...

    Any of the new budget amps from Sony, Yamaha, Denon, Marantz, etc.

    The MS cherry finish is a lot harder to drive than the normal black finish 'tho. No, just kidding. :clown: Those are nice speakers. :cool:

    Be wary of the impedence of these speakers.
    The 302 for example are 4ohm's.


    The pioneer you ask about in another post is 8 ohm's only and would not be compatable with the above.

    yeh, i noticed, thats why i posted here to try and match summat up... dont wanna spend a fortune tho

    actually on the mordunt short site it says all the speakers are 4-8 ohms... so it might be ok

    The pioneer is 8 ohm or above. I have a Pioneer VSX-D710s and the specs are similar. If the speakers dip to 4ohms it could cause the amp to over load. I have not tried 4 ohms on mine by the way.
